A novel of intrigue and suspense in the city of lights and romance.

Woman of Paris are frightened, in fact there's wide spread panic.

Dominique Fontaine, promoted to Prefect of Police, is closer than ever to arresting a pervert who has been attacking university coeds in city parks for six months. The latest victim escapes and Dominique is about to get a first time description. While she interrogates three suspects, another serial crime against coeds begins. This time the victims are missing feared kidnapped or murdered. This time there's more to the matter than a sleazeball getting cheap thrills. This time Dominique’s skills are pitted against a sinister villain who calls himself Apollo. Similarities abound in both serial crimes, with one big difference: there are no ransom demands for the missing victims. Is Apollo the same villain? Did the park pervert just change his M.O.?  Is this a series of serial crimes with different villains? Looking for answers, Dominique and her protégé Yvonne Castel find themselves searching the sleazy streets, the putrid rat and drunk infested back alleys and dimly lit smoke and scumbag filled cafes of Pigalle, Paris's sex capital. They must rid their beloved city of these worms so the women of Paris can once again enjoy the city of lights and romance. Success depends on split second actions, and at times unethical decisions.
